David Wise

The world was first introduced to David Wise during his inaugural gold medal halfpipe performance at the 2014 Winter Olympics, but his participation in freeskiing goes much deeper. Based in Reno, Nevada, David’s relaxed and friendly family-guy demeanor masks a wildly technical and incredibly consistent competitor. In 2012, he swept the Dew Tour, Grand Prix and X Games halfpipe finals. He held that top spot at the Winter X Games for three years in a row leading up to his Sochi Winter Olympic victory. He also has six U.S. National titles, the first of which he won ten years ago at age 15.

He started this past season strong with a win at the Breckenridge Winter Dew before injuring his shoulder during the Mammoth Grand Prix. David looks forward to coming back strong in 2016 and continuing to lead the way as the most progressive and consistent rider in the pipe.
