The streak of second place finishes continued for Smith's Mason Aguirre, his position on the podium was a sigh of relief to another season of successful competition.

Vans Cup at Northstar in Lake Tahoe
The energy was contagious at the Vans Cup this year as the Smith team stood atop the podium in a few different disciplines. Molly Aguirre started things off by winning the woman's rail-jam held on Friday night with an impressive combination of tricks. Her consistency throughout the night held the other competitors off while Ms. Molly swooped in to collect her loot. Mason Aguirre stepped up his slopestyle game and placed an impressive 2nd right behind last years champion and added 14k to his bank roll.

Grand Prix of Snowboarding lands in Idaho
Since Tamarack, Idaho first opened in 2004, the resort and its uncrowded slopes have reached legendary status. Now in its second year as host to the Grand Prix of Snowboarding, people are beginning to take notice to this small piece of the wonderful state of Idaho.

Oslo, Norway – February 23, 2008: It was a dramatic finale to one of the most significant competitions on the Tour. The Swatch TTR SIX(6)STAR Oakley Arctic Challenge, greeted with sunny skies and an enthusiastic crowd, wrapped up today with US rider Kevin Pearce taking home the title and $ 24.500 USD giving him enough TTR ranking points to take over the TTR World No. 1 position putting Risto Mattila (FIN) in second rank. Shayne Pospisil (USA) took second place while Peetu Piiroinen (FIN) once again proved he’s one of the best by rounding out the Top three and maintaining his grasp on TTR World No. 3.

For the second time in three races, Motorsports Xtreme Kawasaki's Tommy Hahn put himself on the box with another solid 2nd place finish. Following up his 2nd at the muddy San Francisco two weeks earlier, Tommy showed the World he's the real deal and ready to fight for a win. And with only two rounds left in the Monster Energy West Lites Championship, now is the time for the Kansa native to make his move.

Well just when you think the guy has gone all four wheeled on us, the most exciting man on two wheels decided to give the folks at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego over the weekend. Never one to miss some racing action and sign some autographs, the #199 Travis Pastana made an appearance and while he had some dead time, busted out a back flip during opening ceremonies.
