Shayne was first brought on to the Smith team last winter during a backcountry trip to Idaho; Shayne showed up and dominated the trip.  At the time he was sponsored by a different goggle company, but after a week in the backcountry with the other Smith Riders he was quickly converted and has been on the program ever since.

This season has been a stand out year for Shayne, he won the Grand Prix Expression Session in Breckenridge, won the King of Quarters in Aspen during the X Games and then just places second at the Air n' Style in Finland.

Shayne will be accompanying the Smith Crew as they pile in the team Van and make the 2800-mile journey to Alaska.  Shane will be a pleasure to have along and will be a dominating component to the excursion.
