Elena Hight

Pipe

A two-time Olympian, Elena Hight has made a career of exceeding expectations and breaking boundaries in and out of the halfpipe. At 13-years old, Elena was the first female snowboarder to land a frontside 900 in competition. She followed this exploit by landing the first double backside alley-oop rodeo by a female rider in the halfpipe at the 2013 Winter X Games. Her exciting competitive riding style consistently stands out as both stylish and technical.

With five X Games medals and two Olympic appearances (2006 and 2010) under her belt, this past season she took on a new challenging expanding her repertoire in the big mountains of Alaska filming with the Full Moon film crew.

The Kauai native is equally at home in the ocean as she is in the mountains and splits her time between her home in South Lake Tahoe and the beaches of Southern California. A master of new media, Elena shares the behind-the-scenes experience of being a professional athlete through her blog H E A R T, where she also indulges her passion for fitness and health with healthy living insights and her favorite natural recipes.
