lighter than bike helmets that are not full face, i have my full peripheral vision, the airflow is amazing. i bought this to ride my scooter and its literally everything i wanted from a helmet.

Great helmet for jumping waves on my WaveBlaster II. The removable pads make it great for water sports! Super comfortable and breathes well.

How great is it to ride downhill and not get a sore neck or back thanks to a light helmet?! Love this helmet. Fits like a glove.

Full time pro mtb patroller. Very breathable, great for hot days. Haven't had any issues with durability. Looks clean.

Love the custom fit with extra interior padding. Safer with MIPS technology, great true-to-size fit and looks amazing too! Customer service and Smith's Crash Warranty will keep me coming back.

I love everything about this helmet except the moto style chin buckle. It’s the worst. Taking your helmet off on the lift is a must and that buckle system is a nuisance. I’m halfway up the lift before i can get it off.

This helmet is so lightweight, comfortable and stylish. Definitely recommend. Great protection is the most important factor and Smith technology delivers. Get one.

The fit and the helmet is great- I don’t love the clasp- it’s kinda tricky at first but otherwise great helmet.

For a helmet that comes in at half the price of other similar helmets, I can't believe anyone would buy anything else! This helmet fits snug and comfortable, is super lightweight, and protects so well!

Super comfortable and very light for full face. Enough air flow and still feels like solid protection.

Got this for the colder months or when I go do harder trails. Fits well, and I like that it comes with multiple pad size options. It also is lightweight so doesn't strain your neck.

Absolutly love the helmet. I work at a summer camp on a bike hill and was looking to get my own full face to replace the use of rentals and decided on this one. It is way more comforatable on my head. Went with the zero gravity color way and am constintly getting compliments on it from the campers. I would recomend this helmet.

It was hard spending $300+ on a helmet but I will say I'm glad I had it on. After only wearing it a couple times I took a spill, landing on my head. I finished the ride a little banged up but I was ok. Got down the trail to find not only a crack in the front but after closer review there was a crease on top and the helmet was cracked thru both layers of foam from the center, forward to the crack:u1F974: yes I'm glad the crack was not in my head, but I'm not convinced the crash warranted the damage done to the helmet. I was super disappointed to have to spend the money again and also to find that I can no longer get it in amethyst

13 year old son absolutely obliterated himself wearing his previous smith helmet, definitely credited with a head save… he asked for a full face rig as he did suffer some minor face to earth rash… this helmet is just so right… light, cool, and easier to wear than the motocross helmet he used to wear when “going big”. He wears this one daily on his e-bike.

Helmet looks great, fits well, good quality. The only thing id change is the strap from a loop and button to a clip. It's just so much easier for kids to get them clipped rather than looped and buttoned by themselves.

Light and ventilated enough to keep me feeling cool, sturdy enough to keep me alive after "i wanna try something cool"

I had another Mainline for the past few seasons and loved it. Good fit and decent ventilation for hot park days. Took a crash at the bike park last summer. Direct hits to the helmet and shoulder. No concussion……not even a headache! Unfortunately, the helmet and my collarbone cracked. Missed the rest of the season…. Purchased another Mainline with no hesitation. Back at the park like I never missed any time. Thanks Smith!

This is my first full face helmet, and I must say thus far I'm very pleased. The helmet fits perfectly (small w/the thinnest cheek pads), and breaths wonderfully. It was 23 vent holes that allows nice flow keeping your head cool. My only critique is that they upgrade the chin strap to a magnetic system. Smith is a company that produces high quality products, so I would recommend giving them a try.

This is my third Mainline, and I won’t get another full face. It’s light, great visibility, the fit and design is snug but not constricting and it breaths really well especially in hot months. I had a cosmetic warranty issue with the last model and Smith graciously warrantied the helmet with excellent customer service. It’s a great helmet but also a great company who stands behind their products

I recently purchased the mips mainline helmet from SMITH and had the unfortunate opportunity to truly see first hand how good it is. During my ride I crashed and went head/face first into a rock. The helmet ended up taking the brunt of the impact and I was able leave the scene unharmed. Had I not had this helmet, the story would have ended very differently. Aside from the amazing head protection this helmet offers, it also is very comfortable, fits true to size, has lots of ventilation - making it a great option for everyday riding. I will definitely be purchasing this helmet again! Aside from its amazing

Awesome helmet but size is tricky. I have another Smith helmet in medium but the medium Mainline is much too small. When I ordered the large and adjusted the padding, it was a great fit.

Fit is good, light weight, comfortable, good air flow, extra cheek pads are great, fits well with a braid.

Bought this as a replacement for another Mainline that took one for the team. The trauma surgeon said that my helmet was the only thing that saved my jaw. They fit my head perfectly. 10/10, will continue to buy.
