Drop Elite

I did tons of research on all the Smith Elite line but surprisingly there wasn't a lot of information to be found; no photos of them on people's faces and not enough good reviews for this model. In my search I had narrowed it down to the Frontman style and the Drop style and actually initially purchased the Frontman model first. The Frontman model are great glasses but they just looked a little big on my face and a bit out of proportion. The deceiving thing is that both models have the same dimensions but the design of the Drop model just makes it fit better on my face and so it looks more proportionate. I think it's because they have a more aggressive wrap, more rounded edges and the temple arms meet the lenses in the middle of the lens and it appears to place them up a little higher on my face. Love the Blue Chromopop and I've decided to order a grey/green pair to add to the stable. I plan on wearing them for both pleasure and for protecting my eyes while shooting.

Where I work Z87+ glasses are mandatory and I wear these all day, everyday out in field. They're lightweight and comfortable, while still feeling bulletproof and they look as good as they feel. The Drop Elite are the best pair of hardworking sunglasses I've owned.
