Chris Davenport

Big Mountain

Aspen, Colorado-based big mountain skier and alpinist Chris Davenport’s resume speaks for itself. His laundry list of wildly successful accomplishments extends from his 1996 World Extreme Skiing championship win, to his 2007 epic expedition to ski all 54 of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks in less than one year—for which he holds the record. From the summit of Everest to the steeps of Antarctica, Chris has been there and done that with a smile on his face and a penchant for sharing his experiences. This seasoned skier holds court as one of skiing’s most-respected representatives, whether in his role as a television commentator, a professional speaker, or as a well-versed author on North American mountaineering and skiing.

Chris’ contribution to the sport was recently acknowledged with an induction into the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame. Chris shows no sign of slowing down in his year round quest to follow his passion for hunting down beautiful lines in incredible locations worldwide.
