"helmet itself was fine but they missed sending helmet bag as advertised on their website"

Terrible experience

"The helmet is too small, but its final sale and I can’t return or even exchange it. I even tried to communicate with your customer service department, but you never responded. Shame on me for not noticing the small print about it being final sale. Now I’m stuck with a brand new helmet that doesn’t fit. I won’t ever buy anything from Smith again…"

Clarity!

"Not sure why we waited so long to replace our old goggles. Clarity even on the brightest day. And the 4D Mag unimpeded field of view is a game changer. I’m a convert."

Does not have MIPS

"This helmet pictures that it has the MIPS system (yellow dot), but it does not! False advertising and now no one will answer my emails or calls (on hold forever til I give up). I just want to return without paying for return shipping. Hoping this negative but honest review will get the ball rolling."

Expensive Helmet

"If you're looking to protet your head: I believe this will do it. Bad news is it's expensive and a lot of the features. . . . aren't. Pros and Cons below. Pros -It protects your head. -I presume the MIPS and whatever else protects your head even more better! But I haven't tried getting smashed in the head yet. Cons -Colors are unexciting, and out of stock. -There's a bunch of features, but good luck trying to figure out how to use them -Removable ear pads: the ear pad fabric has a hole with a plastic piece used to fit the helmet on my head, so without snipping the fabric or breaking the plastic that ear pad isn't going anywhere. -Aleck audio system compatible: HOW? besides cutting open the ear pad and sliding a headphone in there's no directions on how this works or if it exists -It's a big honkin helmet. It's hard to tell in the curated photos, but it's a big helmet on your noodle. There are sexier helmets out there. -The dumb yellow ""MIPS"" sticker is dumb and difficult to scratch off. -For a helmet, mostly made of styrofoam, it's expensive. $145 retail before tax and shipping? Too much."

Great helmet but rattling goggle clip

"Great helmet except the goggle retention clip rattles on chattery snow. The helmet fits great and can be either warm or well ventilated, but the important clip on back that holds the goggle strap opens from the bottom and isn't rigid and so it rattles loudly against the helmet when I ski over chauss and bumps. Has anyone found a way to muffle this?"

Good Helmet

"First day on the slope's, smacked my head on the ground and I'm pretty sure it saved my life. Don't cheap out on something that can save your life!"
