I just got LASIK and after purchasing my first ever pair of sunglasses these were perfect. They fit well not perfect maybe a tiny bit small. Overall these might’ve been the best sunglasses I could’ve bought.

i have been a longtime costa customer of there Lido model. this embark from smith resembled there model pretty close and was hesitant to purchase but i am glad i did. I do have a slightly wider head but the arms on these glasses have the metal wire in the rear that is bendable and moldable to your head so they give a very nice locked on feel when you get them adjusted right. I am very pleased with the fit and finish and quality is great! the only thing i would like to see smith do is introduce more Glass lens models and colors please because durability is my top priority when purchasing a premium set of glasses and these are definitely going to be my go to!

Great Glasses. You can see in low and bright light without squinting at all. They fit well and block out the light from all angles. Used on a glacier. Only I missed placed the strap and I’m not sure if I can buy a replacement because the glasses are a little wide for my head and if I shake my head a bit looking down they will not grip well and fall.

This is the best outdoor sunglasses that I have owned. They have a very comfortable fit, and the side shields will be helpful this winter with the glare when doing snow activities

Excellent for fishing in sunny condition

As someone who does a lot, I have absolutely loved these glasses. Whether I'm knee deep in a river fly fishing or knee deep powder these glasses always seem to fit the activity.

Love these glasses , great for skiing to mountain biking or even if your just going to the beach!!! Great performance glasses. Would recommend 👌

I bought these as an alternative to z87 frames. Very happy. The guards do snap into place near the temple. They feel larger than a medium size frame and slide around a little. I don’t notice any glacial tinting feature, however the coating and visibility are fantastic, very happy.

The Embark’s run true to size, have stylish look with great blind spot coverage, have been great at the ball field, on the water, or just cruising down the road.

The new Glacier Photochromic lens is incredible with adaptability in any light condition whether it be overcast or full bright sunlight. The side shields are a great optional feature for more coverage/protection if you need it. Highly recommend to any avid adventurer!

I’ve had many Smith sunglasses over the years and while I hemmed and hawed at first before buying these, but I couldn’t be more pleased with the Embark

I bought the glasses for days when it was too warm for goggles. These glasses are perfect for those days. The side shields protect your eyes, and the glass changes based on lighting conditions to give you visibility and eye protection no matter what the light conditions.

I’ve worn Smith Optics since I started my guiding career, and the Embark frames are by far the best frames I’ve ever had. The side shields don’t allow any wind to get behind the glasses if you happen to look back while running the boat. And they keep my laser focused!!!

They real help cut the glare on the water

I love my Smiths. I’ve got a handful of them, but this is my first pair of this model. The fit is quite good. The arms are slightly bulky if you’re a wearer of hats and have a relatively shallow crown like I do. The side shades are great, but beware that the air flow is limited (which is hard to avoid with any good glasses that wrap) and you’ll likely get some fogging on this hot/sweaty days.

Love the fit and lens of my new smith embark sun glasses. I highly recommend them.

They fit pretty well, although i would have liked them alittle smaller. I liked the side guards and the integrated strap. They were just dark enough when sunny and worked pretty well when it was snowing. Nice case, you should include a cleaning cloth. . . if you did I didnt get one!

I drive aprox 4 hours for work and by the time I’m coming home my eyes are always so tired. I did some research and they say for blue eyes to use the amber color lenses. The combination of the amber lenses and the side shields to keep the sun out of my eyes has been absolutely perfect for driving! I accidentally bought the non polarized lenses but it worked out perfect since I use my phone for work constantly. Polarized lenses make your phone all rainbow colored and it’s kind of annoying. Great glasses, great quality, great customer services when I was gunna return them because of the polarize thing but then they were shipped already so I never returned.

I am probably going to order a second pair of these. . . I suffer from migraines. The full symptom nausea, light sensitivity, etc kind. These glasses? Block sufficient light so I can function, blocking window light and keeping the light even from a computer monitor to a tolerable level so I can continue to work. Not exactly what I originally purchased them for but as a hack for migraines these things are amazing.

Where can we get replacement side shields?? They aren't anywhere online. Great glasses other than that

Can we please get other lens color options for prescription sunglasses? Red etc

I've always had excellent sunglasses--meaning superb optical performance registering the scene in front of me AND I liked the way I looked wearing them. I keep my sunglasses until they can't be repaired or I lose them. My last pair, Maui Jim's, I had for seven years, so I was kinda giddy when I lost them. I looked around and chose the Smith Embark. I have other Smith products so was confident they'd be excellent. And they are. At any elevation they make the world a better looking place (and I like how I look :-). But I just lost a side shield and am looking for a replacement. Anyone out there know where I can get one? My only recommendation is for Smith to give you two sets. May be a mea culpa on their part, but it also would be a good look, lookin' out for their customers who buy their expensive stuff. You read these reviews, Smith? Where can I get a replacement side shield?

Love the way the polarized glasses cut the water and help me sight fish. Epic glasses!
