Reviews

Not as expected. No Go Pro mount

"Does not include GoPro mount as pictured"

Universal Light Mount does not apply to all lights

"This mount does not work with the NiteRider lights- I have the NiteRider lights and have been missing a way to attach these to my Forefront 2 Helmet without having any holes to thread through. I thought that Universal meant it worked with all lights but not for this one."

Kadee M. (1/5)

Not a great mount

"This is a very poor execution of a MTB helmet light/ GoPro mount. I would like to see a rigid attachment rather than just providing somewhere to strap something on. Bontrager’s Blaze is a much better helmet for this."

Ryan (1/5)

Not Very Secure

"The threaded nut insert that was glued inside the shell of the helmet over time pulled right out. Not a very secure connection for a light mount. Possibly a flaw in the helmet design as well."

Has potential. Weak adhesive

"Used it for 2 winter rides- already come undone due to lack of adhesive. Plan to return."

David S. (2/5)

Cool mounting attachment

"The attachment for the helmet is pretty cool, because it is designed for the forefront 2 helmet. I like it because it has more of a shelf than the normal adhesive mount. I was kind of bummed that it did not come with a GoPro style mount that is becoming more of the mounting standard, it only came with a handlebar style mount (the one with the light in the product picture of the website)."

Rob N. (4/5)

Great but not perfect

"Love the idea and it's almost perfect. I just feel that even with the bolt it sometimes slides out, and you can't really tighten it down anymore without pulling the nut out. The 3m helps but doesn't make it perfect imo. However, it's better than the straps you use with light mounts."

Zach G. (4/5)

Light Mount

"Easy to attach to helmet. Works great! Holds light with no issues."

Joe L. (5/5)

Easy to install, does what

"Easy to install, does what it’s supposed to do. From a design standpoint, it’s a bit lacking – basically gives you an artificial “handlebar“ to strap the light to. As a result, The mound is pretty bulky, and the light rides pretty high above the helmet. A mount that would attach to the disk at the base of the light would be preferable."

Aaron S. (4/5)

It works. . . . kind of. . . .

"Design of the mount feels much like an afterthought. Generally secure when riding, but has come off multiple times when taking the light off. Riding partner is having the same issue as well. His came off adjusting the angle of his light during a ride. Hope they come up with a better design."
