Description

Designed in collaboration with VSSL, the Smith Backcountry Supplies kit is a custom collection of essential emergency supplies for ski tours and hikes. Fully waterproof, a bomber aluminum tube keeps everything dry and easy to find in your pack. Inside are four individual tins packed with select items ranging from first aid and fire starter to a wire saw and repair supplies, plus adventure tape and a ski strap — all chosen with a focus on safety and making good days better. An integrated LED light on the end adds emergency lighting. It's a single solution backcountry kit for trips long and short.

"Haven't had to use it yet (thankfully). Sleek and compact. Has all the essentials you would want when going into the backcountry. Only future concern will be the batteries with how long they will last and what will replacing them look like- it takes a pair of special ones that come with the container."
