The hybrid shell enhances day-to-day durability and includes a full 21 vents with dual adjustability that lets you fine-tune airflow to meet the conditions. As for fit, The Vantage uses the BOA® 360 Fit System for the ability to micro-adjust the size around your whole head with the turn of dial. Add the proven Smith AirEvac tech for a fog-free goggle interface, and you have a helmet to match your dedication.

Great helmet but the goggle strap deformed
"I love almost everything about my helmet but on the first use at a resort the googles strap deformed and I lost a 1 day old pair of smith goggles as the strap didn’t hold them on. Now only use for indoor slope use."

Great helmet, runs small
"Super glad I tried this helmet on before buying it. I have a more round shaped head and this helmet fits me great. I typically wear a Medium but needed a Large for this one. All in all it's comfortable, has good airflow and was delivered quickly. I'd also recommend waiting until their spring sale to purchase one. It normally retails for $270 but was on sale for $150 this spring. . ."

"Although I've had helmets from Giro and Spy, none of them come close to this one. really light and comfortable, making me forget I'm wearing anything. With MIPS technology, this helmet would offer excellent crash protection and is my favorite form and design out of all of them."

Vantage saved my life
"I recently had a season ending fall at Alpine Meadows where I hit two separate trees while sliding down Counterweight Gully. "Smith has always had great glass and their goggles are no exception! I recently was able to use the Magfit goggles on a ski trip and they performed flawlessly in all conditions. The ability to easily switch lens with the flow of a switch to go from bright conditions to low light conditions was awesome! Highly recommend!!!"

Vantage MIPS protects like advertised
"This is my second vantage helemt this season. The first shattered on a fall I had in Jackson Hole. Thanks goodness I had the MIPS helmet or I would have had a major concussion but with the Vantage obsorbing the entire impact I walked away with no concussion or head injury."
