Express Mips® - Past Season

Can someone please tell me how to replace the battery? I don’t see how/where to open the light, don’t want to break it.

This helmet saved my 11 year old son’s life. My son lost control of his e scooter and crashed hitting the curb on his head. His head bounced and the helmet took most of the impact. My son needed stiches only on his brow, no concussion. The ER doctor said the helmet prevented a much more serious potentially fatal injury. Helmet didn’t even crack. Thank you Smith, I’ll be buying another and customer for life.

I commute in NYC to work everyday on a bike and my husband (thankfully) made me get a helmet. I thought this was a perfect mix of function+aesthetic+value. I had no idea it would actually save my life. A truck took a left turn directly into me, and my head hit the ground so hard I broke 2 teeth and busted my lip. But I didn’t even suffer a concussion or lose consciousness- this helmet did its job. Highly recommend.

I bought this helmet after my brother bought one as well. We both have a large oval heads and Smith helmets fit nicely. Tried at least 5 other companies' helmets, but Smith beat them all for fit, comfort and looks. Plus, they are not overloaded with Vent holes. The light and visor are a nice bonus as well.

The helmet fits well and I love the bright color yellow. I liked the light, but alas it fell out after about a week of owning the helmet. I don't think I'll buy a replacement light because there is not latch or anything to keep it from falling out.

I just received this helmet this morning and went out for a test ride soon after. Very pleased with this helmet! It has everything I want in a helmet. Integral rear light (I usually have to add my own) and a great removable cloth (as in cap-style) visor. I don't use a visor in the summer but when the sun is lower in the sky it really comes in handy! I use a light on all my helmets all the time. So I'll see if this helmet is 'venty' enough for summer rides. Otherwise 3 seasons is also great. Love this helmet!

Bon achat. J'ai acheté pour le modèle pour la qualité du produit mais aussi pour la lumière arrière qui me procure un sentiment de sécurité. Seul petit bémol avec mon achat, le prix du shipping, j'ai trouvé un peu cher ! Mais sinon, très contente de mon achat !

Express MIPS is very well made. Easy adjustment to make snug, depending upon weather hood/hat worn underneath. Really like the bright red light on back and how it easily turns on/off. Also like that it came in turquoise color which compliments my bike:)

Great commuter helmet. I like the built in light for easy additional safety at night.

The helmets are very comfortable and have a nice look. My wife and I are very happy with the helmets.

Love the ergonomics of the helmet and it’s been my main helmet for the last 8 months. Back light is great and battery lasts a long time. However the visor started coming off very early on. The Velcro just doesn’t seem strong enough and they do give you a 2nd visor but it was only a couple of months in it started falling down mid ride. I used some double sided gorilla tape to keep it up for now.

Comfortable, lightweight and looks great. I like the light and visor option too.

Helmet is very comfortable and the rear adjustment is perfect for getting a great fit. The Helmet is a bit warm for hot weather biking but that isn't a deal breaker as I bought this helmet for multi sport use in the summer and winter.

This helmet saved my life last spring. I was in a terrible bicycle accident and the only reason I am alive is because of this helmet. I promptly purchased another and also a ski helmet.

Nice fit and weight

Bought two of these. Happy with the quality, but one of the helmets was missing the sun visor. I reported this inmediately, but have not heard from Smith yet.

The helmet fits nicely on the head, love the color and the fact the price was right was certainly a plus!!! I had a fall off my E-bike hitting back of head, thanks to the well made constructed Smith helmet along with the MIPS feature, my skull was saved from any serious damage. Great helmet! I like the fit, profile, strap, and color. The only downside is the light has fallen out of the helmet a couple times. A pressure fit is used to secure the light, but it would be nice if it was a more secure snap in.

Awesome helmet! Light and comfortable. Purchased to wear while riding my Onewheel. I’ve been lucky but while trying my helmet a friend crashed his Onewheel and has an unharmed head because of it! He has since purchased his own and loves it as well!! Thank you for a great product.

Bought as a gift for my wife. Fit is good, protection seems good, rear light nice add on, colour and styling good. Nice bike lud for urban commuter bikers.
