Nice Lid

"A great looking helmet. Comfortable, easy to adjust, well made and no doubt safer than all other helmets I've owned. It looks good without being ""nerdy"". I hear this a lot and it actually keeps people from wearing bike helmets so I'm pleased to report that these won't make you feel that way. Built in flashing back light is a great touch if you have to bike in dark conditions."

Great choice for E-bikes

"We recently purchased E-bikes and spent a good deal of time researching helmets. Our search led us to the Dispatch, which has several certifications relevant to E-bikes (NTA-8776, CPSC, CE EN 1078 and AS/NZS263). Some reviews mention the light not staying clipped to the back of the helmet or the straps not staying in place. These issues are not a priority for us. I expect to readjust the straps every time I put on a helmet and I have other tail lights/reflective devices on my bike. I haven't used my helmet light yet but will keep other reviews in mind when I do."

Perfect except for the flimsy light

"I love my helmet. However, as has apparently happened to others, the light broke off because the plastic snapped where it connects to the helmet. I can't seem to find any way to order a replacement light. Customer service hasn't responded to voice message, awaiting a response to an online email/support message I just sent."

Don’t buy this

"I would give this helmet 5 stars but the low rating is due to poor customer service with the warranty department. The rechargeable back light fell off of my helmet. I reached out to the warranty department to file a claim. The return response said one to two weeks . I never heard any more from them. I let it go a few weeks more and same response from Smith that they received my information, again never a response as to a resolution. It’s now been close to 6 months since the 1st email and just sent a reminder this October , again the same response that they would get back to me. They never did I doubt if I will receive a new rechargeable back helmet light. The lack of response is very disappointing. I would advise not to purchase."

No ear strap clips: A surprising downgrade

"The Dispatch helmet does not include clips for securing the ear straps in place, a feature present in the Express model. This omission means that the ear straps become misaligned every time the helmet is removed or carried, requiring frequent readjustments to maintain proper fit and effectiveness. This not only compromises the helmet's safety but also detracts from the overall user experience, as it takes time to fix the straps when they get completely messed up. I'm disappointed by this design choice, particularly given that the Dispatch is marketed as a ""NEW MODEL"" and priced so much higher than the Express. It's puzzling why such a useful feature would be omitted in what is supposed to be an upgraded version of your product."

Had to do a lot of digging, but ended in success!

"I was looking high and low for this helmet. Everywhere I looked had the Dispatch helmet, but not in my size ( L ). Then finally through a Google search, I found it online at store called Boarderline Insanity in my size. Brand new with everything in the box. Thank you to the team at Boarderline Insanity. 🙏🏾"
