How would you describe yourself as an athlete?
Committed to perfecting my craft. I love the process of developing and always getting better. I am just as eager now to improve as I was when I first started back when I was 5 years old.
Which part of your personality is most represented by your disciplines?
I love surfing the mountain. I have never lived by the ocean but I’ve been drawn to surfing. Mountain bikes allow me to climb the mountain and surf the dirt all the way down. It’s my zen state.
If you could spend a day with any other Smith athlete, who would it be and why?
Bobby Brown because he’s been an inspiration since he won X Games back in 2010. He’s also shown that he enjoys some mountain biking too. Such a legend. Total respect and admiration.
