Ultimate Lense for PILOTS

"Since I’ve purchased these glasses I’ve been wearing these flying. I figured the tech and transition would help with the transition for low to high intensity sunlight that can occur in a cockpit. I was absolutely right. These glasses have never done me wrong in the cockpit. The transition works unnoticed and makes a noticeable difference in eye fatigue after long flights. Holy grail of sunglasses for any pilot from ATP to weekend fun definitely worth every penny. P. S. SMITHS y’all should definitely market this lense technology to the aviation industry. I hunt and fish as well. Fishing is ok but use for hunting has been as phenomenal as my experience with them in the cockpit."

Seems like cheap plastic

"I’ve owned a few pairs of Smiths and this latest order feels like the quality has gone down. Nonetheless I will use as a back up pair when floating since I cannot return as these were sent to me unsolicited this morning."

Cheap-o glasses. Awful Customer Service.

"Had brand new Embarks fall off and break at the flimsy hinge when running down stairs. Can’t imagine these being durable enough for Mtn sports. $30 KnockArounds are made much better, IMO. Customer Service is worse than the quality of the glasses. Got a boilerplate response to my initial inquiry. Then totally ignored (zero response) from CS agent “Mayra” to warranty question I asked April 7 via reply email. I’ve been a Smith customer for at least a decade. Well, this experience of paying a premium price for cheap-o product and indifferent customer service has ended that. I’ll go back to Oakley for premium optics and KnockAround for throw-aways. Good riddance, Smith :("

Love these glasses

"These sunglasses worked great for both skiing or fishing. I have used them non stop for a few years now and unfortunately, the rubber on the back end of the glasses has split. I do highly suggest these, I wore them at work, winter backcountry, and fly fishing in the summer."
