Love the fit and durability!!

Guides choice photochromic have been my go to shades for the past six months. Any water sport -check. I also dig them for snow sports. Great coverage and wind protection make them ideal imo for skiing. Glass lenses rule.

I like the glasses, my only issues is that I like to store them on top of my head at times and this style doesn't grip to my head well. I have had other sun glasses that allow me to take a full golf swing with my glasses on top of my head, with these they fall off with a lot less activity. Other than that, very nice set of sun glasses.

Best sunglasses for water activities hands down. I’ve tried all the top brands and these blow them away. I have the green mirror brown cp polarchromatic glass lenses. The auto adjustment is awesome depending how bright or less bright the outside conditions are. Found the winners with these sunglasses and are perfect for my fishing and outdoor activities.

Spending nearly $300 for me is a big deal. I searched and researched the web using Google and YouTube before I came across these Smith Guide’s Choice Glass Chromapop Polarchromic sunglasses. Once I came across them, I compared them to some of the other big brands out there and decided to pull the trigger on these with the yellow blue mirror. UPS delayed my package by 2 days which of course is out of Smith Optics control. When they finally arrived, I eagerly opened the box and nervously put them on my face and WOW is all I could think and feel. I could really feel and more importantly SEE the quality in these sunglasses. They are pretty awesome I must say. I go fishing a lot and bought these as I thought the polarchromic would be awesome for days where the sun is in and out. With my old glasses I would find myself taking them off as the sun would get covered by clouds and put them on as needed. Here are some of the things I would like to let people know about: The glass version of these glasses is a little heavier than I am used to. I’m not saying they are heavy, just a little heavier than my plastic Oakly’s. This is, and was to be expected. Visually, looking through them is awesome. I love the yellow tint that they have, and colors do POP. More so than any other pair of sunglasses I have owned. They blow the doors off my Oakley’s (I was never impressed with the Oakley’s). They are comfortable and I don’t find myself ever taking them off while fishing, no matter what the sun or clouds are doing. That being said, these are polarchromic and they change or adapt to the lighting conditions. This is something that I honestly don’t notice. For instance, if I am walking out the door into the bright sun I can’t tell if they are changing or not, but they do, I just can’t see it. I know the tint does change as I tested them with a digital tint meter that I got off of Amazon. I do find myself pushing them up on my nose here or there as they slide down a little and want to sit where I don’t necessarily want them to but that is probably more of an issue with my face and nose. Overall, these are awesome and I am very happy with them! I would and do recommend them to anybody that will listen. I hope this helps you with your decision. I don’t think you will regret getting a pair of these.

Love the sunglasses. I’ve worn most top brands in. This is now my favorite. Very comfortable very clear and helps me see fish better than any other sunglasses I’ve ever worn.

The yellow lenses with blue tint are great for grey skies and low light. I’m looking forward to using them fishing in the fall. They fit great and look great too.

I love the glasses, especially the new lenses that change based upon the light. I fish on a boat about four days a week and only use Smith Optics Guides Choice. I am a little concerned that in the past I had problems with delamination, although the warrant process is excellent and seamless. I have about three pair at all times.

Best glasses and even better customer service/warranty. The Guides Choice and Hookset are for me the best glasses I've owned on and off the water everyday in all conditions. Their approach to standing behind their product is outstanding as I've come to find out. Customer for life!

Glass were too big. They are advertised as medium, not they are lot. For the money, they should fit much better than they did. Quality is not there for the price tag.

I had the original guide’s choice and these are an improvement. They have more coverage with thicker frame and I’m a big fan of the hinges on the frames. Glass has performed well this far. These might be lighter than the previous model I had because they don’t seem to be as heavy after wearing all day.

I’ve been wearing Smith glasses for over 30 years. I had a pair that broke and they took care of me as they always have. I upgraded (glad to see they have glass lenses still, I thought they didn’t), to the Guides Choice as per recommendations from staff. I’m 64 and my eyes are not as good as they used to be. Love these new glasses and glad to know company still has great service! Thank You!

Received a pair of Barra sunglasses for a gift and they started to delaminate on the inside. I had no receipt from the gift from 2 years ago. They helped me get the warranty processed and quickly received the new pair. Highly recommend SMITH due to great customer service and quality of sunglasses.

This is my second pair of Smith sunglasses. Excellent product. I use them for fly fishing in bright light. They make the view clear and crisp. I love the glass lenses as they don't scratch easily.

This is my third pair, and I love almost everything about them. My only complaint, is that the integrated leash is not super durable. Otherwise the glass is top notch, and they are very comfortable.

Best sunglasses ever!

I’ve been guiding for over 30 years and have tried just about every brand of sunglasses out there for sight casting. These are my go-to—every single time. I own three different lens colors and a couple of pairs with bifocals. They fit perfectly, the tint is just right, and the Polar Chromatic lenses are an absolute game changer. Whether it's bright sun or overcast, they adapt and let me see fish I’d miss otherwise. I won’t go on the water without them.

These glasses really show the contrasts on the ground while hiking. They heighten colors and have allowed me to walk in shadowed forest and emerge into harsh sun with no problem. I’m very satisfied with these sun glasses.

Good quality and theses are great for sight fishing cobia and drum in the bay. The varying conditions we have make life easier. The integrated strap is nice and they fit under a hat well. Only update would be a floaty on the strap

They do what they’re supposed to do. I’m a fishing guide a buddy of mine suggested them and I would recommend them!
