"I was disappointed with the hookset glasses that I got and it started with the unboxing experience. The glasses didn’t come with any sort of plastic protective wrap on them and the included lanyard wasn’t even in any sort of plastic bag or anything. They looked like a pair of glasses that somebody purchased and returned. The second issue I had was that the arms of the glass didn’t seem to have a tight secure fit, and they made a creaking sound when you opened them and closed them. Also, there were some little burs on the top edge of one of the arms. I feel like the fit and finish was not what a $327 pair of sunglasses should be. . The lenses looked fantastic but I wasn’t really allowed to wear them or I wouldn’t have been able to return them so in the end, I don’t really know how well the transition feature worked.  I could have just gotten a bad pair, but I returned them. Customer service was great. I recommend. Finding a place you can try them on and look at them before you buy them."

Great glasses.

"Having used only smith sunglasses for guiding. The hookset frames are awesome they fit your face very well and blocks all of the peripheral light out. I always love the integrated leash with the frames. The lenses are awesome I have the rose base with blue tint, and can see exceptionally in low light conditions. High sun they are not the best due to them being a little light but overall great glasses"
