Description

There's just something about aviators. Born for the skies and beloved on solid ground, they're unshakably cool and always in style. Our take on the classic, the Smith Langley 2 sunglasses pair timeless teardrop frames with unmatched optical clarity. Ordering a backup pair!!

"I have had my pair since Jun 2023. I have had many different sunglasses from Ray Bans to many styles of Maui Jim's, even Aviator style but those were SO heavy. I can't tell you how much I LOVE these. . . I love them so much I am ordering a backup pair right now because I will be so sad if these ever get discontinued. The nose piece is set so I can put the glasses up like a headband and they don't snag my hair. They are lighter weight but unlike another reviewer, I love this aspect. The color combo is stunning. . . my SIL loved them so much she literally bought a pair from her phone as soon as she saw mine. I have unfortunately dropped mine a few times BUT I have zero scratches. . . yes, after 3yrs. Why would I not want another pair for that alone lol. These images are 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026. . . I wear them ALL THE TIME!!! No scratches."

Poor quality

"Generally disappointed with the overall quality of the sunglasses. They’re very lightweight, feel “inexpensive “and scratch easily. Not the overall quality I would’ve expected from Smith."

Sweet Aviators

"Smith doesn't disappoint and that's true of the Langleys. Nice looking and high quality for non-performance shades. I have a small face and these aren't too big. A little big but totally fine. For reference I wear the Reddings because the Guides are too big for me. As Jason pointed out in his review, Smith is top notch and the only sunglasses and goggles I wear. Since 2001. Their optics are the absolute best, particularly on the water. And their warranty and customer service are as excellent as their optics. Speaking of Jason, if I could, I'd give his review 100 stars. While not brief, and I'm guessing we're not 100% aligned politically, I agree, Ray Bans are garbage. So are Oakleys. I applaud your humor, sir. Well f#@(ing done. Here's to aura farming 😎"

Returned

"The Langley 2 line is a downgrade from the Langley 1 line. The nosepiece not being integrated into the frame is the main issue causing hair tear out. Additionally, the arms are tightened to the point where they don’t even close."

"They fit a bit large! They are NOT the color in the pic but more blueish/purplish . They get super dirty very easily"

"I’m usually a guides choice type person, but wanted a pair of aviators so I started looking. I’m one of those people that research the shit out of something before I buy. I thought Lt I settled on Ray-Bans, but they just look silly. I can’t explain it, but Langley just has better curves and feel more expensive. Plus, Sleepy Joe Biden wears garbage Ray-Bans. Go figure. Anywho, f#%k all these people and thier 1 and 2 stars. I’d give 100 stars if I could. Langleys are absolute pimp! I don’t understand why anyone would wear anything other than Smith. They’re the best shades on the planet. The lens tech can’t be f%#ked with by any other lens tech, and the someone also else mentioned the warranty. Smith warranty is top tier. I had a pair of a model called operator something or another for about 10 years. I used the heck out of them every day. The lens’s started to peel and when I inquired about getting them fixed, I learned that Smith no longer made that particular style. So Smith let me select a new comparable model at no charge, which is how I got into the Guides Choice model. Oh, I also have a set of I/O magnetic ski goggles. I use them when I ride my e-bike during the winter. The goggles are also top notch. Smith is the best optics company on the planet and Langleys are the best model of aviators. I just wish they’d offer more lens options, maybe a few with glass lenses, and offer Langley prescription shades. Dont waste your time on bullshit. Just grab a pair of Langley if your looking for aviators. If your looking for a pair of fishing shades or a pair of beach shades that keep the sun out, peep the Guides Choice model. If you’re looking for something else, there a zillions of other styles. Oh, quick story. I coach soccer and usually wear my guides choice because it’s usually hot and super sunny when the season starts. One day I wore a pair of my Langleys (opal lens and gold frames) and one of my players told me I was “aura farming”. I was like, wtf does that mean? I thought he was talking shit. I was about to school that little shit bird. Turns out, it was a complement lol! Like, bro. Just speak English. Stop wit the meme speak. Anywho. Yeah, Smith = #1 in all categories. Grab a pair of Langleys and discover what aura farming is all about."

Addicted to the fit and feel of these aviators!

"Love their curve, and the fits legit! Owned 2 pair already and back looking again. :)"

"I’ve owned Smith Audible, Serpico and now Langley glasses. The Langley is a return to form for fit and quality reminiscent of the old Audible titanium glasses. The fit, nose pads and hinges are significantly improved from the Serpico models. The chromopop lens have always been the best in the industry."

new nose pad :(

"ugh, these have a different nose pad! The old one would not get stuck in my hair and would not get bent, this one is on a thin wire and sits away from my face and looks funny. I gave them away. Super disappointed, because my old ones were my favorite of all time!"
