"Awesome glasses. Great fit. Great lenses. And they look great."

"I have almost every color of the Lowdown 2. All time favorite! Also have Guides Choice and that’s my go to for the lake or river. Bronze lens is awesome. Unfortunately Smith is hard to find in a store for trying on. Oakley is everywhere."

"I purchased these sunglasses in Fall of 2024. They snapped as I was taking them off my face at the hinge. I reached out to Smith for a warranty claim and they said this was not covered. I feel disappointed that a pair of sunglasses costs this much and then is not covered when they break during normal use."

"Fits great, looks great, these normally last a long time. Only disappointment is it's made in china"

"My wife and I have been buying Smith for a while and have generally felt the quality was been great! Awesome lenses and frames. Just got my new Lowdown 2 shades in the mail today and am extremely disappointed how they feel compared to all my other Smith frames in the past. The frames feel cheaper and more fragile than my $20 Goodr shades but 10x the cost. . hurts to say but this will be my last pair of Smiths unless the price drops or quality improves. Recommend not buying Smith site unseen for anyone contemplating these shades now. Something changed in quality so make sure you feel them in person before spending $200+. Thankful the lenses are still good. Style and sizing is also good! Just can't get over the cost per frame quality part. ."

"Smith has the best customer service hands down. I have been wearing Smiths for almost 20 years exclusively and absolutely love them."

"Great glasses!"
— George (5/5)
"Buyer Beware: Smith has known delamination issues and is not doing anything about it. $277 glasses are not lasting longer than a year in and around the ocean. I have been a customer of Smith's since 2006. I have been an outdoor guide and extreme athlete since 2006. Smith makes the best lens quality on the market, and I have been recommending them to my clients and professional athletes. Lens has poor durability and does not last in the elements beyond a year. Smith is supposed to be an Outdoor brand, but the glasses lack any durability, and the products have not had any updates in 10 years. The price point continues to rise, but the poor durability quality remains the same. I am the exact client you try to market to, and your product is missing the mark. I challenge you to make a product that can last beyond one calendar year in the elements, day in and day out. Otherwise, you are no better than any other corporation that has purchased a trending market from real outdoorsmen and pioneers."

"great shades!"
— Marc V. (5/5)
"Love how these look and fit but quality leaves something to be desired. I have had other Smith glasses that I had for year and years. These only made it a few months. Asked Smith to replace them and they said it is user damage. I get that but I'm not hard on things and there were no incidents, these are just very low quality materials AND for a premium price. First the lens cracked while wearing them out in the sun, maybe from heat? I kept wearing them. They felt big on my face after ai had them on driving in the car and I pulled them down and it was because the framed had cracked. Again, just sitting in the sun in a hot car. Do better Smith or stand behind your products."
