Their wide-shield coverage maintains full vision at speed while ChromaPop™ brings every detail of the road and trail to life with enhanced contrast and natural color. Smith MAG interchangeable lenses use a magnetic clip for quick, fingerprint-free lens changes. Combined with a lightweight frame and non-slip nose pads, they stay put through long, hot climbs, fast descents, and extended trail time.

Worth it

"The best sunglasses are the ones you forget you’re even wearing—and these truly disappear once they’re on your face. They stay perfectly in place, even on long rides, with zero need for readjustment. Fogging has never been an issue, even in extreme humidity. The photochromic lenses are outstanding, smoothly adapting when moving in and out of dense tree cover. I’ve used both versions of the photochromic lenses, and I prefer the brown opal mirror for the superb contrast it gives on the trail. My only minor complaint is the shiny black finish, which looks a bit cheap on an otherwise great pair of shades."

Excellent Shades

"Ive had these for a few months now and absolutely love them, They fit nicely under my full face helmet when mountain biking. The polarized lenses are awesome, I never have to squint but when I ride in the trees they are still super bright and I can see great. I wear them for ride bike rides and for general days out in the sun as well and I am looking forward to testing them out for ski touring season. They are so light and comfortable I almost always forget that Im even wearing them until I take them off and the suns melts my eyeballs again. Super satisfied customer."

Great Cycling shades

"I have had a pair of the regular sized shift mag and loved the ease of lens changes and overall quality, weight, etc. A few years later I have replaced them with the XL version and while the benefits are all still there, I have noticed that they catch a bit more air at high speeds on the road bike to where I can feel the resistance on them. This isn't a huge concern as it only happens at ~50+mph so not an everyday occurrence. Definitely recommend!"

"I’m a bit disappointed with these glasses, they feel loose and keep sliding down when I’m riding technical trails. Never had this issue with any of my other riding glasses. Maybe the Shift XL MAG is more suited for road riding than mountain biking. Two thumbs down from me on this one. Definitely will not recommend or buy this product again."

Wanted to love them

"I believe these are great glasses for a lot of people but not for me. I have a bigger head so was stoked when I saw they offered XLs. Just slightly narrow TBH, but acceptable. Problem is they sit way too far off my face and at high speeds winds gets behind the lenses and makes my eyes water. Not good when downhill. Smith Fanboy here so kinda bummed …but hey, Smith wins most of the time. Oh, killer case for the extra set of lenses and shades."

"I love the beige color with gold lenses. I'm delighted with the sunglasses. The sunglasses are great, very light and comfortable. Easy to swap lenses. I only have one BUT. Smith needs to improve the quality of the rubber on the nose and where the ears rest. When it's very hot, the rubber becomes soft. I've already had a problem and had to resort to the warranty. I think these glasses are going down the same path. I wear these glasses every day. I use them in the summer for beach activities in the heat and in the winter for snow or mountaineering activities. The lenses are incredibly durable, but the rubber. . . no. Would I choose other Smith sunglasses? Yes, without a doubt, but knowing that the rubber parts will expire after a year of use."
