Good looking helmet

"Good fit and nice style. Only issue I find is that the goggle seem to sit up too high above the bridge of my nose blocking some of my vision. To fix that I tilt my helmet down forward, so the goggle angles down a bit giving me more downward visibility"

Excellent BUT.

"When I received my helmet, I realized I could have ordered a different goggle shade. I immediately emailed my mistake to customer service. I admitted it was my inattention and I wanted to know how I could buy the alternate lens. I’d keep the lens that had been sent. I got an immediate response acknowledging my request and I’d hear from someone soon. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Weeks have gone buy. I’ve reviewed all information I can access on your web site. Noting there. ."

Wide range of vision, needs improvement

"Great fitting helmet. Don't wear this helmet on any day that precipitation is falling, it will end up on the inside of the visor. Water from the lift chair was dripping down and ended up rolling down the front side of the hemlet onto the inside of the visor, very frustrating. Great visibility, wide range of side to side view. Good option for those that wear glasses although your glasses will sometimes fog."

Game Changer!

"I am a full time professional ski patroller. I wear glasses. I could not find OTG goggles that were comfortable. I had modified the foam in all my goggles to better accommodate my glasses. Was never a great solution. Decided to try the Smith Survey. . . . Total game changer! The helmets overall fit is great. Extremely comfortable. Warm in cold weather. Well vented in warmer temps. The visor is fantastic! Zero issues in blizzard conditions with moisture getting inside the lens as some have described. Works flawlessly with my glasses. Allows me to perform my patrol work on the hill and transition into the patrol room without skipping a beat. No issues with airflow coming up under the lens. The look of the helmet/visor combo is also very nice compared to other brands offerings. I would highly recommend the Survey helmet to anyone looking for a new set up!"

Worst…design…ever…

"Why would they build an air vent (more like a snow scoop) on the over your forehead that gets directed into the visor without any foam or mesh? If there’s any blowing snow or loose snow, it ends up in the visor accumulating until it eventually blocks your vision. I had to tape those vents closed to make the helmet functional."

"Super warm, love the goggles too"

Stephanie (5/5)

"Fits well and is great to have the visor. Fits well over glasses. Comfortable and looks good too."

Goggles Do Not Fit

"Unhappy with me new expensive helmet. Goggles do not fit flush against the face allowing airflow under goggles. There is also a significant gap between the temple and eye. Allowing a ton of cold air to enter on the side. If you are snowboarding don't have your head facing completely downhill, so much air comes in leaving your face freezing and your eyes running which then impairs vision."
