Why wear cylindrical goggles?

Many riders choose cylindrical ski goggles for their classic style. The flatter profile can provide a sleek look while still offering excellent clarity and peripheral vision. Seasoned pros and casual weekend skiers and snowboarders find cylindrical goggles a reliable choice for comfortable and dependable performance on the mountain—especially when paired with a Smith helmet. Our helmets and goggles work together to create a flow of air that helps prevent fogging which we call Ultimate Integration.

Are spherical or cylindrical goggles better?

Choosing between spherical and cylindrical goggles depends on personal preference. A cylindrical lens features a flatter profile and a more classic look. Spherical lenses curve both horizontally and vertically, expanding your field of view and reducing distortion. Ultimately, it comes down to fit, style, and your preference.
