I was really looking to

"I was really looking to purchase the photochromic lens. I am a Canadian Ski Patroller who spend a lot of time outside providing first aid services at sport events all year long. Unfortunately, that lens was not available online in Canada when I urgently needed them. Too bad I could not deal directly with a local dealer in Ottawa. I like my Smith sunglasses!"

Poor quality

"The lenses break easily through normal wear because of the pressure exerted when attaching the arms. The so-called ""lifetime warranty"" does not cover this. Avoid, avoid, avoid."

Good coverage!

"These lenses have the exact coverage I've been looking for. I hope Smith continues with this design. I ride low on my bicycle, so I like to have a little extra coverage at the top of the lenses. So far, I haven't been able to find anything else like them that have that little extra sliver of coverage. The fit is good, and it is easy to swap out lenses. They are lightweight, and come with a lens protector. The black lenses are very dark, and I think they look cool. It blocks out the bright light, and it improves visibility. I do wish the lenses were a little more resistant to cracking. The last lenses I had were the mirror ones, and they cracked down the middle somehow. I only had them for 2 years. Despite the cracking, I would probably still buy these again. They are just what I was looking for in a pair of sport glasses. Would be nice if they were a little less expensive. It's quality stuff though. Recommended."
