Engage Mips®

Finally, I have found a helmet with a comfortable liner/suspension system that truly fits my head. The helmet stays securely in place while I ride over bumps and drops. The visor is perhaps not as shielding as it could be, but a good pair of sunglasses makes up for it. Of the many helmets I have owned, the Engage Mips® is the most satisfactory. Excellent.

I was in quite a hard crash 2 weeks ago, and this helmet saved me. My head is perfectly fine despite hitting it pretty hard- zero concussion symptoms, not even a slight headache! Would've been in the hospital without it. It's dented, but didn't even crack, which I found impressive. Just ordered a new one- thank you Smith!

This helmet is super comfortable and feels like it provides solid protection. The orange color is easy to spot but not too bright.

This helmet is light and comfortable. I’ve been cycling for about twelve years and this is the first time I’m trying Smith. It is the lightest helmet I’ve ever worn. I love the adjustable points just below the ear. I think the price point is just right for the safety features.

I love this helmet. The colors are amazing. The fit is perfect. It's super cozy. My one "nit" is that the roller wheel to tighten and loosen the fit is VERY difficult to turn. I like to loosen my helmet to take it off, then tighten it to the perfect fit before I start my ride. The nob is just difficult to turn. Otherwise, my favorite helmet.

Had some trouble finding a helmet that didn’t give me pressure points- this one has been the best for my head!! No pressure points, love the colors, so it fits and looks and great!

I just replaced my old helmet with the Smith Persist this spring. I crashed on pavement and cracked the helmet, but I am ok. The advanced helmet technology really worked! Thank you, Smith! I love the style and comfort of this helmet, so I ordered the exact same one as a replacement.

This helmet is very comfortable and lightweight. 10/10 would recommend.

Took a nasty spill on my ebike going about 20mph. I'm 47 and it's my first wreck. Road rash on my right side, but no broken bones or stiches. I've been riding for a while and hit the turf just right to have my rear wheel slip out from underneath me. Without my SMITH helmet I would have been in the hospital or worse. Great product. My wife also owns the same model and saw the whole thing. She will always wear her SMITH as well. Thanks for the the great product.

Love the helmet, style, fit and color. Getting real about wanting to protect my head. Learned a few years back a lighter color helmet also helps reflect sunlight on warm days.

I bought this helmet last year because I wanted something to wear around town that wasn't my salt stained road bike helmet from intense rides. Also I loved the poppy/terra colour. Annnnnnnyway, I had some bikes stolen in January and the helmet along with. Didn't want to kneejerk by a replacement right away. I tried using my wife's POC. Size was ok but felt like I had a watermelon on my head. Tried using my Giro road helmet that I saved for intense rides. Uncomfortable, which I usually don't notice becuase I'm already uncomfortable trying to keep up with my group. So finally decided to get the very same one. As soon as I put it on I cussed myself out for waiting so long. It just fits so right. It's light enough to go along on fast road bikes but cushy enough for me to fell good cruising on my e-bike. I've tried helmets with visors which helps a bit with the sun but with the Persist I just stick a cycling cap underneath or even a soft running hat for bigger peak. Even with all this going on underneath the helmet soaks it all in and doesn't feel awkward. I loved it so much the first time I bought I convinced my neighbours to get one they love it too. If it were up to me I would have a lineup of these in different colours. Please don't ever stop making it!

The fit is great, I measured my head and followed the size guide. It was true to size. Feels lightweight yet sturdy. I love the colour. Can't complain so far.

This is an excellent MTB helmet - Great fit and coverage, easy to adjust, lightweight, comfortable, good airflow, looks good, no pressure points. It’s not weirdly bulky and has nice adjustable visor that stays in place. At 59cm I’m an “in-betweener” (medium & large). Typically I wear a large in both Smith bike and snow helmets but this time went for a medium to provide a snugger fit. This one (medium) fits me perfectly and is very comfortable with maybe a half spin of the dial.

I like how adjustable the sizing is with the wheel in the back. Fits great and I love the color!

This is a great helmet, fits as expected. Looks good with or without a cycling cap. Only concern is that the strap adjustment under the chin is quite easily adjustable- this is great for quick and easy adjustments, but I can pull the chin strap and it loosens so I am actually concerned that it will loosen upon impact.

Product fits well, seems to be engineered with materials and design which have proven to provide protection in the past, and includes a good look/feel design and adjustable components.
