Reviews

Good fit and finish but impossible to clean.

"Overall these glasses perform as expected, but for optics of this quality I find it extremely frustrating that the inside of the glass is always streaky even when using lens cleaner and the provided microfiber. It is like the inside of the glasses has an oilophillic coating and no matter how many times you clean them there is streaky residue left on the lens. It is ridiculous paying this price for optical clarity and constantly seeing smudges."

Riptide

"Great sunglasses so far. Frame seems a little weak when cleaning the lenses, but I'll give them a few months to see if they hold up. Lenses are great otherwise."

Thomas H. (5/5)

"Thrse are great. Almost seems like my vision is clearer with them on vs without. A little bit heavier than other glasses that are just plastic, but these have a solid frame and actual glass lenses. The tradeoff is well worth it. Highly recommend!"

Replaced Sunglasses

"I shared with The Rep what was wrong with the glasses they agreed to replace them most importantly he helped me pick out the right type because I kept having problems with other mirrored sunglasses and he helped me pick the right ones great service,"

Michael M. (5/5)

Clean look

"By far the cleanest looking glasses vision wise"

Jose T. (5/5)

Excellent sunglasses

"I've only used them a little bit so far (weather) but I really like the glasses! Fit well and the glass lenses don't distort my vision. I'm headed out on a fishing trip next week and I'm looking forward to using them A LOT. I'll update when I get home."

Bill G. (5/5)

"Lenses are amazing and these frames fit my fat head."

Reuben (5/5)

A bit lopsided

"Glasses showed up a bit lopsided with one earpiece higher than the other."

Hayden O. (3/5)

Impressive

"Nice fit and surprisingly light for a glass lens. Had the Lowdown 2 with plastic lens and these are noticeably clearer. Brown polarized lens good for all but brightest days."

Zeebee (5/5)

"For years, I've worn Oakly Twoface sunglasses. I love the shape, but they quit making the black frames with black lenses. I scoured the internet for another quality brand that were the same or at least similar dimensions. I thought Costa Rincon or Rinconcito would be it, but they weren't as wide and were taller. After over a year of searching, I finally found the Smith Riptide. They're a little taller than the Twoface, but the width is there. I've seen some complaints regarding the lens coatung chipping, and so far I can't speak to that, but will update if they do."
