Triad Mips®

This helmet is fantastic. Super light, comfortable, well ventilated, and best of all, the easiest new helmet set up I have ever had.

Good and comfortable helmet! I like the under ear straps being fixed for simplicity of adjustment. I sized up from a M to a L for a better fit for me, and the larger size scaled up the vents so they are too far apart to securely hold my sunglasses in place (Smith Wildcat). I wish they adjusted this for each size.

I love this helmet! Great airflow and design, and the actual size of the helmet isn’t disproportionate to my head. The straps under the ears aren’t adjustable though, and I find I have to tighten the chin strap multiple times on a ride.

Upgraded my road bike helmet to this Triad Mips and love it.

I switched from the Network to Triad because I liked the deeper coverage on the back, the venting set up and the different chin strap system for around the ears. It’s comfortable, I don’t ever make adjustments in ride and don’t really think about it, which to me says a lot.

I replaced my smith trace with the triad for a similar helmet but a brighter color. I was hit by a car on my bike and so I haven’t worn my new helmet yet as my bike still needs repairs. I love smith helmets with the Koroyd and MIPS and am fortunate to not have been concussed with my trace. It was a bright sunny day in a roundabout so I thought I’d get a bright helmet as I was hit from behind. I’m replacing my helmet because the trace was hit fairly hard. I can’t wait to get back out there with my triad and like it’s fit as I’ve been wearing it at home and glasses space. Hopefully you’re not leaving the bright colors for ‘mood colors’!! As it’s a jungle out there if I got hit on a sunny day with lights on……need my helmet to stand out!!

I have been riding with Smith helmets for many years and this new style is by far the most comfortable helmet I have ever used. The ventilation is amazing and the looks are second to none!

Very comfortable, fits well, pleasantly surprised at the quality. Glad it features MIPS. My favorite part is how the shape avoids the mushroom head effect.

Great fit and Looks amazing. I am pretty picky with my shoes and Helmets. Smith always works for me. Don’t skimp on your head !

Excellent product

I’ve been wearing other brand helmets for some time and now that I got my Smith Triad I haven’t been needing to wear a hat under my helmet anymore. The helmet stays put, it’s super light and I forget it’s on which is what you ideally want riding gravel single tracks. It’s a keeper for sure

First cycling helmet, thankfully the few models in XL. Looks great, got the Triad in white and have no complaints! Comfortable and light!

Coming from the network I was stoked to order this as a slight upgrade. First thing, the drawstring bag noted didnt come with my helmet. Second, if you don’t have grippers on your sunnies, they aren’t staying in the helmet. Otherwise helmet fits pretty good, looks cool as hell. Four stars because of the fit and the style.
