Guide's Choice RX

Ordered these to replace my Deckboss RX that "ran their course"/lifespan. The fit of the Guides Choice RX is nearly identical to the Deckboss. The arms of the Guides Choice are slightly shorter than that of the Deckboss, but fit well.

Glasses were just as advertised. Love them

I had some smith's for 12 years and they were starting to show some wear. Time for new ones and needed RX. Great sale on for 50% off and ready in two days. The lenses seem much clearer for the whole width.

These look and feel great! Wish they were a bit more snug on my face, but hopefully they will perform well.

Great glasses, they look good, fit good and I can see when things are too sunny or bright. No need to be swapping glasses outside. These are the green lenses with progressive prescription.

Very clear lenses

Brought my first pair 7 years ago, sat on them last year. Treated myself to this purchase, great prescription sunglasses!

i’m seriously impressed at how much these glasses wrap around and keep bright light out, which makes them perfect for snow and water activities. Even more impressive that smith made my prescription work on lenses that shape… but they work amazingly. Great contrast and color vision even in the shade / woods. I couldn’t be more happy with these. If theirs is anything to pick on it’s that construction feels a little “light” … but so far so good.

Great new frames

The fit is so comfortable that I can wear all day, the clarity is as good or better than any other glasses I have had; i have owned many other top brands. The Rx was filled correctly and came as described. These glasses make it easier to see the fish yet tie the 5x fly line.

My favorite sunglasses have been a pair of Smiths for years. I don't wear contacts as much as I used to so when I found out I could get a pair of prescription sunglasses from Smiths, I didn't hesitate. My new Smiths Guides Choice RX sunglasses fit my larger head perfectly. They are now my new favorite sunglasses.

This sounds corny but these glasses are a life changer for me!

These glasses are very clear, excellent Rx, comfortable to wear all day.

I like these sunglasses. With a comfortable no slip fit these high quality glasses are great for fishing and look good for casual use. You'll get full coverage so no light gets in from the top, bottom, or sides. Awesome glare cutting let's you see beneath the water surface to spot fish. The only thing I don't like is the poly lenses. My first Smith's had glass which restists scratches and lasts longer. Take care of yours to avoid scratches.

So far the sunglasses with prescription lens are perfect. Just what I was hoping for.

I’m a lifelong fly fisherman and I’m at that point of life when I need progressive lenses to see fish rising at a distance and in detail up close to change flies (“lures”). The Smith Guide’s Choice has the perfect wraparound frame & lenses to shield out glare, and the optical shop nailed my progressive lenses spot on. Customer service has always been patient, knowledgeable and just top-notch helpful. They even sent me a replacement neck cord attachment when I broke my first ones. I’m a life-long Smith customer and this reenforces why.

Love them - first time I ever had a RX put into sunglasses and they are truly eye opening for me - I wear them for driving and officiating softball, but may give them a go this winter on the slopes!

Loving them so far. Fit is a little wider than I prefer. The new chroma pop lenses seem brighter and more clear than the other brand of RX lenses I had. I do wish the retainers had an adjustment clip. The extra length in back seems to hang on everything. But I love they’re integrated into the ear pieces.

I have the guides choice with prescription lenses and they are my favorite sunglasses. Excellent fit for my large face and the curvature and side protention is perfect. They work perfectly for kitesurfing EXCEPT, the lenses do not hold up in saltwater. It seems the lense coating gets compromised by saltwater. Now im wondering if I can get replacement Rx lenses for them.

Guides choice Rx

Longtime Smith customer for polarized sunglasses, I was excited to see a prescription option for my favorite style. Production and shipping were super quick, and the Rx was dead on. Really pleased.

So far so good. I’ve had the prescription Guides Choice for two weeks now. I like the way they fit and feel. Would have liked to seen more care instructions and directions on how to attach the leash.

Just what I was hoping for!! My eye prescription is very challenging and Smith nailed it. Perfect job. So overwhelmed with gratitude. It’s so nice to be able to guide clients through better vision. Thanks so much

What is so amazing with this Smith model is how lightweight sunglasses are. Very easy to pop up small rubber pieces at the end of temples and install leash. Leash is featherweight. I am very satisfied and can’t wait to take them to water to fly fish.

I was skeptical at first because they made me dizzy and everything seemed so much closer than it actually was but once I got used to the polarized lenses they worked great for trout fishing. I have not used them for anything else yet but all in all I like the fit and look of these glasses, thank you for the nice pair of shades. Sincerely, Preston Smith

My old ones lasted longer than my prescription. The new pair is just as comfortable and I like the integrated hanging strap. Wrap around design keeps light from the sides out and tremendously helpful when spotting fish.

I literally can’t go outside without my Smiths anymore. The optics are great, they don’t fall off your head or face and I often exercise with them on. AND you can really see into the water better with them. Fishing, running, yard work, hunting- never leave home without them.

Better then my expectations First time I put these on I was like WOW!!!
