2/5 Stars: Proceed with Caution
"Let me save you some disappointment: the Smith Dominion RX frames look great in photos, but the reality doesn't hold up. Out of the box, the lenses were smudged and coated in dust; not exactly the unboxing experience you hope for with a premium product. And it didn't stop there. One of the arms had a visible defect near the hinge joint, with the plastic bent slightly backward in a way that immediately raised concerns about long-term durability. The design itself? No complaints there. It’s sharp, stylish, and well-proportioned. But style without substance only goes so far, especially when you're dropping $200. At this price, flawless quality control and pristine presentation should be the bare minimum, not an afterthought. Smith has a solid reputation, which makes these shortcomings all the more frustrating. As-is, the Dominion RX is a good-looking frame let down by poor craftsmanship and sloppy handling. Proceed with caution."
